BALTIMORE & WASHINGTON D.C.

English/We were only supposed to stay on Long Island, and make a quick stop in New York City, but suddenly we went to Baltimore for two days and Washington D.C. one day, which was the greatest experience. We lived in Baltimore, and we took the train to Washington D.C., which took approximately an hour. We walked all over Washington D.C. and we saw so many things and places: The Capitol, The Botanic Garden, Air and Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, The Sculpture Garden, National Archives, The Smithsonian Castle, The Washington Monument, World War II Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The White House, The Treasure Department, Spy Museum and National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. We ended up taking 30.000 steps that day, and it was such a great experience to walk around Washington D.C. with one of my best friends. We didn’t plan what we wanted to see, we just started at the Capitol and made our way to the Lincoln Memorial, and all the way back again.

In Baltimore, where we lived, there was a pool on the 22th floor, and we went up there to swim after Washington D.C. at night. It is one of the most insane experiences I’ve ever had. To swim around on the 22th floor in a pool, and to be able too look out over Baltimore that lights up in the dark. Absolutely amazing.

I already miss America a lot, and I’m positive that I’m going back. When or where – I’m not sure of, but there is so many places that I really want to experience.
